I just didn't want to read it and the story wasn't captivating enough for me. I also had a hard time with the movie. My mum and I agreed to each get a copy of Life of Pi and read it before the movie came out. I really wanted to put it down really quickly once I started it but I kept getting texts from my mum telling me I had to keep going and I had to finish. I did and I must admit by the end of it my opinion had changed and it kind of took me by surprise, a book that made me think I guess.

I am a huge Diane Chamberlain fan as well, I think The Lost Daughter (think it's called The Secret Life of Cee Cee Wilkes in the US) is my favourite book by her though. I really loved The Help, once I read that I started forcing it upon others to read.

My TTTCharnell @ Reviews from a Bookwormhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12694156080937232949noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3901198771720534016.post-38544560070053748672013-10-16T19:05:15.270+01:002013-10-16T19:05:15.270+01:00I was determined to get to the end of Life of Pi s...I was determined to get to the end of Life of Pi so that I could say I had finished it but I am sure it was worth it :) Thanks for stopping by my TTTLydiaMary248https://www.blogger.com/profile/04704398765407989086noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3901198771720534016.post-14291495179442894682013-10-16T19:04:34.598+01:002013-10-16T19:04:34.598+01:00I personally wouldn't use precious reading tim...I personally wouldn't use precious reading time for Life of Pi but you have to make your own mind up on that one.
